Russia’s Rosneft to spend 1 bln rbl on Sea of Okhotsk shelf studies
MOSCOW, Aug 15 (PRIME) -- Russian oil major Rosneft has announced a tender to choose a contractor for 3D exploration and seismic works on the Magadan-3 field in the Sea of Okhotsk, with the starting price standing at 935 million rubles, as follows from documents of the company, seen by PRIME on Monday.
Bids will be accepted till September 5 and the winner will be announced on November 2.
Magadan-2 and Magadan-3 are jointly explored by Rosneft and Japan’s INPEX under an agreement signed in 2013. The total recoverable resources stand at 1.577 billion tonnes of oil equivalent.
